Tuition Protection Insurance
ISP is pleased to present TuitionGuardian, a valuable tuition refund product designed to protect the investment in college tuition made by families and students. Membership is available to any student, whether a US citizen or a foreign national, age 16 to 60, who is attending a university, college, or trade school, in the United States. TuitionGuardian is also available for US students engaging in a study abroad program. Coverage applies to a student who withdraws from a term of classes as a direct result of injury or sickness.
The plans are flexible, giving students the option to choose coverage on a per semester basis, or enter any lesser amount based on their individual budgets. Payment options are annual, or by semester. The student or tuition payer may select any limit per semester rounded to the nearest $1,000, subject to a minimum limit of $2,000 and a maximum limit of $25,000. The benefit payable up to the limit selected is 100% of the paid tuition and fees (including tuition paid through loans, grants, or scholarships) less any refund or credit due from the educational institution.
