Temporary Visitors Traveling to the US
ISP offers the Navigator Plans to non-US citizens under age 55 who are temporarily visiting the US (e.g., visiting faculty, scholars and researchers). There are two Navigator Plans: Basic Navigator and Enhanced Navigator. Both Navigator Plans meet or exceed most US State Department insurance requirements.
Both plans offer comprehensive medical coverage and include access to Solutions by Travel Guard, a Chartis Company, which provides Personal Security Assistance, Travel Medical Assistance, LiveTravel Emergency Assistance, Worldwide Travel Assistance and Concierge Services.
Please note that Navigator is not available to visitors traveling to the following US states: Washington, Idaho, Massachusetts, and Minnesota.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the Basic or Enhanced Navigator Plans, you must be a non-US citizen under age 55 with a current passport or US visa who is temporarily residing outside of your home country or country of permanent residence. Your spouse and any dependent children under the age of 19 are also eligible for coverage if they accompany you to the US. For purposes of this insurance, if your home country (the country from which you hold a passport) is different from your country of permanent residence (the country in which you permanently reside), you will not be covered in either location. |
