IIE Reports Positive News on International Students Remaining in U.S.

As spring semester wraps up and colleges and universities begin to decide on what fall semester 2020 will look like on their campuses, one lingering question is whether international students will return. Reports have been varied across campuses and there are many factors that have come into play in determining whether students have chosen to or even been able to return home to their home country, but there is some good news. According to a recent survey published by IIE (the Institute of International Education), 92% of surveyed international students have indicated that they are still in the United States. This is very positive news for the international education community and for those students who have spent years here in the US working toward their degree, doctorate, or working on important research.
